She has worked as an Editor-in-Chief of ACM since 2022, and before that, she was an Assistant Editor of ACM from 2012 to 2021. She has been an Associate Editor of The Ewha Medical Journal since 2018 and an Editorial board member of the Korean Journal of Healthcare-Associated Infection Control and Prevention since 2019. She is an associate professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Ewha Womans University College of Medicine. She is a member of the Executive Board of the Korean Society of Clinical Microbiology. Her main research interests are clinical microbiology, especially bacteriology, antimicrobial resistance, and molecular Microbiology.

Prof. Byun has managed the review process for ACM since 2022, starting as an Assistant Editor. She has worked as a Deputy Editor of ACM since 2024. She is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Gyeongsang National University Hospital. She is a member of the Korean Society for Laboratory Medicine, the Korean Society of Clinical Microbiology, and the American Society for Microbiology. Her research is focused on enhancing medical practices within the field of clinical microbiology, with particular emphasis on bacteriology, epidemiology, infection control, and antimicrobial resistance.

Prof. Lee monitors and manages the ethical aspects of submitted manuscripts as an ethics editor for ACM. She is a professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Chung-Ang University College of Medicine. Her main research interests are in clinical microbiology, especially Mycology, Antimicrobial resistance and Molecular Microbiology. She is the IRB chair Public Institutional Bioethics Committee designated by the Ministry of Health, a member of the Specialized Committees for Research on Human and Research of the National Bioethics Committee, and a member of the Advance Regenerative and Advanced Biopharmaceuticals. She has specialized IRB chair at Chung-Ang University Hospital and WIRB International Fellow.

Prof. Uh has served as a biomedical statistics consultant for ACM and has been an editorial board member of ACM. He is a professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Yonsei University Wonju College of Medicine. He is also the President of the Wonju Severance Christian Hospital. He served as the Director of the Medical Information Office at Wonju Severance Christian Hospital (2005-2020) and the director related to information of the Korean Society of Clinical Microbiology (2001-2020). His main research interests are clinical microbiology, especially bacteriology, antimicrobial resistance, and infection control.
